Our Feldfühler are little helpers that monitor your fields for you and let you know with an alarm when things change. That's how the Feldfühler can be used in many different ways.
- Frost monitoring: They measure the temperature so you get alerted in case of late frosts and can react quickly.
- Irrigation automation: They measure the soil moisture and automatically control valves, so you can give your plants the right amount of water.
- Crop protection: They measure the leaf wetness, the precipitation and the air humidity so you can protect your plants more efficiently against diseases such as scab or mildew.
- Berry cultivation: They measure the EC value, the pH value and the moisture in the substrate, so you can give your berries the right amount of fertilizer and water.
- Consortia & large facilities: Control and management of large irrigation systems or shared frost monitoring ...including access for employees and members.

Three simple steps

Install the app
Install the Feldfühler app and create a personal account so that your Feldfühler are really only shown to you. This is where your Feldfühler find a nice home, and it's completely free!

Scan the QR code
Then you just scan the QR code on your Feldfühler and you can immediately view your Feldfühler's information. And so you don't have to constantly check your phone, you can easily set up a suitable alarm, and then you can monitor your field totally relaxed. It doesn't get any easier than this!

Switch on the device & mount it
Finally, grab your Feldfühler and bring it to where it should do its job. The transmitter unit should hang as high as possible so reception is optimal and – if it's a device with a solar panel – enough light hits the panel. You place the sensors in the right spot depending on the type. You attach Freddi's sensors to the lowest branches, you place Nessi's leaf sensor somewhere in the tree, and you bury soil probes at a depth of about 20–30 cm in the soil. That's it!
